Diedra Bruder is an independent Legal Assistant for the law firm. Ms. Bruder has been a Legal Assistant for approximately 47 years, and she is highly experienced in business and civil litigation including commercial collections. In May of 1982, Ms. Bruder joined the law firm.

As a Legal Assistant, Ms. Bruder interfaces with clients regarding facts pertaining to the client’s specific situation. She prepares, on a regular basis, complaints (both simple and complex) as well as Declarations (in accordance with the Evidence Code), Points and Authorities and all other documents necessary not only to obtain writs of attachment and writs of possession, but also to obtain judgments and default judgments against Defendants. Ms. Bruder also prepares comprehensive Confession of Judgment Statements and Attorney Declarations in support thereof,
Settlement Agreements and Stipulated Judgments, Stipulations re Entry of Judgment and Stipulations to Dismiss actions pursuant to CCP §664.6 in accordance with Mesa RHF Partners, L.P. v. City of Los Angeles, supra, 33 Cal. App.5th at 516-17 as well as varying types of Motions and the Declarations and Points and Authorities in support thereof. Ms. Bruder reviews, on a regular basis, documents and forms prepared by other members of the law firm.
