Wilma Escalante

Senior Paralegal

Ms. Escalante is an independent Senior Paralegal for the Firm. She has more than 30 years’ experience in the fields of bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, complex commercial litigation, pre- and post-judgment remedies, as well as real estate transactions. Ms. Escalante primarily assists the Firm’s attorneys with drafting post-judgment documents. Ms. Escalante previously was employed by Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP as a bankruptcy and litigation paralegal, where she also worked on real estate transactions and intellectual property trademark matters. Prior to that, she was a paralegal at Peitzman Weg LLP, a boutique bankruptcy firm that represented Chapter 11 debtors, creditors’ committees, and bankruptcy Trustees, where she prepared documents for all stages of Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases.
